According to HITC Sport, Sky Bet Championship duo Queens Park Rangers and Nottingham Forest are showing an interest in Luton Town man Pelly Ruddock.

The 23-year-old has made quite the impression for the Hatters in League Two despite his side narrowly missing out on a trip to Wembley after losing to eventual winners Blackpool in the play-off semi-finals.

The versatile Ruddock, who can play in defence or midfield, featured in 42 league outings for Luton during the 2016/17 campaign; only bagging two goals for Nathan Jones' side but he also provided seven assists to help guide the club into a top seven finish.

Nottingham Forest manager Mark Warburton is yet to complete any official acquisitions but attacker Jason Cummings is on the verge of putting pen-to-paper on a deal at the City Ground after successfully passing a medical.

Meanwhile, QPR boss Ian Holloway is hoping to begin a revolution at Loftus Road but his transfer business is yet to get underway.

Former West Ham United academy product Pelly Ruddock only has one year remaining on his current contract at Luton Town so the two interested parties will be anticipating to get the player for a cheaper price than what the League Two outfit are expecting.
