QPR skipper Grant Hall has discussed the difficulties that players will be facing at the moment as the wait for football continues on these shores.

The April 30th date appears to be an optimistic one and it remains to be seen if that is pushed back further, as the current global pandemic continues on.

For players, it's a case of keeping as fit as possible but, without training and playing matches regularly, it's obvious that some match sharpness is going to be lost.

With that in mind, then, R's fans will be keen to hear any updates from their players and Grant Hall has discussed how difficult it is just not knowing what date things will be back to normal:

Quoted by the Ealing Times, he said:

“It is difficult, we are training towards nothing. We do not have an end date so it is weird for us all. All we can do is try and keep as fit as possible and hopefully, it will be over soon.

“Mentally, it is a big challenge. I am better equipped to deal with this now because of my knee injury. Everyone is going to be struggling.”

The Verdict

It is a strange situation for everyone to be in right now but, as Grant says, he is perhaps better equipped than most to deal with things as he was out for a seriously long period with a knee problem.

He'll be looking to use that mental fortitude to keep working in the coming weeks, whilst QPR fans will be eager to see their side back in action as soon as possible, as they go in hunt of a top six finish in the Sky Bet Championship,
