Sheffield United have had a busy transfer window as Chris Wilder looks to strengthen his squad for a promotion push and one man they have brought in is James Wilson.

The striker arrived on a loan deal from Manchester United and brings different qualities to the current crop of forwards Wilder has.

His pace and movement, combined with lethal finishing meant he was always a highly regarded player coming through at Old Trafford.

However, injuries and poor form have meant his career has stalled over the years but the Blades could be the perfect platform for Wilson to fulfil his potential.

The 22-year old has now been with his new teammates for several days and is available to make his debut in the Steel City derby.

Sheffield Wednesday make the short trip to Bramall Lane tonight in what should be a ferocious fixture.

But, should Wilder have Wilson in his starting line-up?

We take a look…

A pairing with Leon Clarke could work very well.

The Manchester United striker has the potential to become something special, and with the pace and skills on show differing to any forward they currently have.

It could be the piece they've been missing.

George Dagless

I would say no.

You'd never be surprised if Chris Wilder chucked him in but I just think he'll start away from the pitch at kick-off.

He could come on as an impact, though, and a goal on his debut would surely endear him to the fans.

Sam Preston

Put him on the bench.

Ease him in, stick with the players who have been at the club for a bit longer and if Wilder needs a goal going into the final stages of the game, throw him on and let him trouble a tiring Wednesday defence with his pace.

If he bags a goal then, he can make himself an instant hero.
