Speaking on talkSPORT, punditry pair Ally McCoist and Jamie O'Hara have issued praise for Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa as the Argentine looks to be the man to finally return the Whites to the Premier League.

It had been a fascinating season up to the point where it had to be postponed and Leeds were the side top of the Championship tree going into the final weeks.

Do you know what year these Leeds players joined?

Certainly, Bielsa is continuing to do a fine job and both McCoist and O'Hara were lavishing praise on him on Tuesday morning.

Former midfielder O'Hara said:

"I’m watching the Leeds documentary on Amazon and I’m loving his style and how he is as a manager. He’s intense. He’s like Pep Guardiola. I really like him, I think he’s a fantastic manager.”

Whilst ex-Rangers attacker McCoist commented:

“I like him. He’s a great manager. I don’t think there’s any getting away from that.

“He’s different, he’s well respected. He didn’t do anything wrong when he was watching that [Derby] training session. He didn’t break any laws. Did he cross a moral line? I don’t know. I didn’t have a problem with it.

“Guys like that that come into the game can only be good for the game. He’s entertaining, he’s bright, he’s different. He gives us something to talk about.”

The Verdict

Clearly, they are fans of the Argentine boss and they are certainly not alone.

The former Athletic Bilbao manager has earned a great deal of respect in this country since coming to Leeds and showing exactly what he can do.

Getting United back into the Premier League would be the icing on top of the cake in terms of the work he has done, but he'll surely want to take on the challenge of re-establishing them in the top flight as well, providing they get promoted once the season is finally resumed at whatever stage that'll be.
