Writing in his prediction column for Sky Sports, David Prutton has revealed he expects Steve Bruce’s Aston Villa side to continue their fine run of form against Norwich City this weekend.
Prutton believes Villa will run out 2-1 victors against their Sky Bet Championship rivals, to continue their rise up the table.
Prior to the international break Bruce’s side had won five from six, helping to move Villa away from the relegation zone and into the top-half of the table.
Highlighting Villa’s recent form as the reason for his prediction, Prutton wrote: “Steve Bruce’s side have been very good over the last few weeks and I think that continues.”
However, Norwich will be going into this game in a confident mood, having recorded their first victory in six against Barnsley in their last league outing.
Both sides look like they will fall short in the race for the Play-Offs, Villa are 11-points behind the top-six, with Norwich’s chance a little better, the Canaries are five behind Sheffield Wednesday.
