Preston North End have been on the end of criticism from pundit Simon Jordan, who has taken aim at the Lilywhites over their stance on their rivals making transfers on the back of agreeing wage deferrals with senior players.
With the football season on hold as public health takes priority, a number of Preston’s Championship rivals have agreed wages deferrals with their players, including the likes of Leeds United and Nottingham Forest.
Yet, the Telegraph note how Preston never entered these kind of talks with their players, insisting that their rivals should be blocked from making signings during the next transfer window.
It’s a stance that is dividing the Championship, but for talkSPORT pundit, Simon Jordan, he believes the Lilywhites need to mind their own business.
Speaking live on the radio show, Jordan said: “This small mealy-minded approach really winds me up.
“With respect to Preston, mind your business.”
With nine games of the season remaining, Preston sit sixth in the Championship table, looking to convert a strong position into play-off, and potential Premier League, football.
Alex Neil’s side are still awaiting the green-light for the season to continue, however.

Preston are looking to take on a fair chunk of the Championship here and it is going to be interesting to see how far their stance will stretch.
Jordan has already began to pick the most obvious hole in it in terms of ‘mind your own business’.
Nevertheless, this is a story that’s developing and this won’t be the last we’ve heard of this saga.
