Huddersfield Town are looking for their first win of the new season when they face Fulham in the Championship tonight.

The Terriers lost their opening game of the season 2-1 at home to Derby County and were only able to draw at Queens Park Rangers last weekend.

The pressure is increasing on Huddersfield head coach Jan Siewert, with his side losing 1-0 to Lincoln City in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday night.

Fulham also got their campaign off to a disappointing start with a 1-0 defeat to newly-promoted Barnsley at Oakwell on the opening day, but recovered to beat Blackburn Rovers 2-0 at Craven Cottage last weekend.

Sky Sports pundit David Prutton has delivered his prediction ahead of the clash at the John Smith's Stadium tonight and has predicted a 2-0 win for Fulham.

"It's not been the best start of the season for Huddersfield," Prutton told Sky Sports.

"They had a long time to prepare for life back in the Sky Bet Championship, but they have just a point from their opening two games and, to cap things off, lost at home to Lincoln in the Carabao Cup in midweek.

"Fulham started poorly at Barnsley but improved a lot to beat Blackburn last weekend. They look the better of the two right now."

Both teams were relegated from the Premier League last season and will be hoping to bounce back with promotion from the Championship this term.

The Verdict

Huddersfield have been really poor so far this season and their only goals have come from the penalty spot.

Fulham got their campaign off to a disappointing start against Barnsley, but were comfortable winners in the end against Blackburn last weekend.

Scott Parker's side have always got a chance in any game due to the firepower they have in attack and I think they'll be too good for Huddersfield tonight, although it could be a close game.

If Huddersfield lose tonight, it will increase the pressure on Siewert massively, but it's important to remember that we're only a few games into the season and I think he's got what it takes to turn things around for the Terriers.
