David Prutton is expecting Wolverhampton Wanderers to maintain their 100% start to the Sky Bet Championship season, when they face Hull City tonight, reports Sky Sports.

Writing in his prediction column for Sky, Prutton has predicted Wolves to overcome a tricky trip to the KCOM Stadium and pick up three-points with a 2-1 victory.

Tonight’s clash will see two of the Championship’s in-form sides meet, after both Hull and Wolves enjoyed successful starts to the season.

Leonid Slutsky’s Hull side have picked up four-points from their opening two fixtures, despite many expecting them to struggle.

The Tigers earned a point away from home on the opening day of the season, following a 1-1 draw with Aston Villa, before returning to East Yorkshire to face Burton Albion over the weekend and recording a 4-1 victory.

Abel Hernandez was key in that victory, scoring a hat-trick.

Whilst Hull have enjoyed a positive start to the season, Wolves are one of only four clubs with a 100% start to the 2017/18 campaign, following back-to-back victories.

Nuno Espirito Santo’s side picked up a 1-0 victory over Middlesbrough on the opening day of the season, before picking up another three-points on the road, beating Derby County 2-0 at the Pride Park Stadium.

The Verdict

We are only three games into the Championship campaign, but Hull’s clash with Wolves is a mouth-watering contest.

Both Hull and Wolves have started the season well, which we expected from the latter, particularly after their impressive transfer window.

However, Hull have perhaps been the surprise package in the Championship, defying what many people thought and starting the season strongly despite a number of departures over the summer.

It would be no surprise to see Slutsky’s side pick something up from this game.
