David Prutton is expecting Nottingham Forest to halt Queens Park Rangers’ excellent run of form, when the pair meet at the City Ground in the Sky Bet Championship this afternoon, reports Sky Sports.

Writing in his prediction column for Sky, Prutton has predicted a 1-1 draw between Forest and QPR, with Mark Warburton’s side stopping Ian Holloway’s men recording a third consecutive victory.

QPR enter the contest on the back of an unbeaten October, which ended with impressive back-to-back victories over automatic promotion chasing, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Sheffield United.

Holloway’s side enter the contest in 12th, level on points with Forest, ahead of the Reds only on goal difference.

Warburton’s side have struggled for consistency throughout the season, which has shown in recent weeks, with Forest picking up two victories and two defeats throughout October.

Forest failed to build on back-to-back victories against Burton Albion and Hull City during the week, suffering a 3-1 defeat at the Madejski Stadium against a struggling Reading side.

Both teams are currently four points outside the top-six.

The Verdict

QPR will enter the contest full of confidence, with Holloway’s side looking to claim a third impressive scalp this week.

Whilst QPR are on an impressive run, it is hard to see how Holloway’s side can maintain the intensity the have shown in recent weeks.

Forest are an unpredictable outfit, but after a frustrating result at Reading on Tuesday, Warburton will expect a reaction from his side.

For us, Forest are slight favourites.
