David Prutton is expecting Sheffield Wednesday and Norwich City’s wait for a return to winning ways to continue this weekend, predicting that the rivals will play out an entertaining draw when they meet in the Sky Bet Championship tomorrow, reports Sky Sports.

Writing in his prediction column for Sky, Prutton has predicted a 2-2 draw at Carrow Road in tomorrow evening’s clash, with Gary Hooper opening the scoring for Sheffield Wednesday.

Both Daniel Farke and Carlos Carvalhal find themselves under pressure at Norwich and Sheffield Wednesday respectively heading into this fixture, with both managers in desperate need of a victory.

Norwich have failed to register a victory since October’s triumph over Ipswich Town, which has seen the Canaries fall to 16th in the table and 11 points adrift of the top-six.

The Owls are just three points better off than Saturday’s opponents, with Carvalhal under pressure after four consecutive draws following the international break.

Wednesday’s 2-2 draw with Hull City last weekend left them in 12th, eight points adrift of the play-off zone heading into the festive period.

The Verdict

The pressure is on both Farke and Carvalhal, with neither Norwich nor Sheffield Wednesday anywhere close to where they were expected to be in the Championship this season.

It is set to be a cagey contest at Carrow Road, and one neither side can really afford to lose, such is the pressure on both managers.

A draw looks likely, but Wednesday’s extra bit of quality could see them pick up an away victory.
