Quoted by Football Insider, former Leeds United player Noel Whelan has raised an issue he has with the potential investment coming from QSI in the near future.

Speaking with Gianluca di Marzio recently, Leeds owner Andrea Radrizzani recently revealed that the idea of QSI - the owners of PSG - investing into the Whites was still a firm possibility and the prospect of fresh cash being injected into the club is surely one to excite fans of United.

However, for Whelan, there is still an issue that will need to be resolved if things are to run smoothly at Elland Road.

He said:

“My problem is how this is going to work when there are three voices around the table? Three big personalities and three big companies behind one team. If they can make that work – fantastic.

“Personally, I would prefer it to be the one person looking after the club, making the decisions with the manager and the board. Keep it nice and simple. Let’s not complicate things.

“I love the investment but do you really need three chefs in the kitchen?”

Can you name these Leeds Utd number 1s?

The Verdict

It's an interesting point from Whelan and one that won't really have an answer until such a time where QSI are suddenly a voice at the table.

Of course, it sounds as though Andrea Radrizzani has decent rapport with the group and he'd not be considering this if he didn't, but until they're working together at the club you'd guess that this question mark will remain.

The hope will be, though, that Whelan's fears do not come home to roost.
