David Prutton is expecting Leeds United to fall further behind the automatic promotion places this weekend and be held to a draw by QPR, reports Sky Sports.

Writing in his prediction column, Prutton believes Garry Monk’s side will draw 2-2 with QPR, when the two sides meet at Elland Road.

Both clubs are in fine form, with Leeds winning three from their last five, but Prutton believes the Whites are becoming too reliant on top scorer Chris Wood.

Ian Holloway’s QPR side have won four from their last five, and Prutton had praise for the R’s, he wrote: “We have seen QPR go away to Reading and Newcastle, and they were really good.

“They were really well structured and had a clear game-plan. They didn't just defend, they went forward and countered.”

Monk’s side are currently fourth in the Sky Bet Championship table and can’t afford to lose any more ground on the top-two, with Brighton already nine-points ahead of the Whites with just ten games of the season left.

A late Tom Cairney goal on Tuesday evening held Leeds to a 1-1 draw with Fulham, as Monk’s side lost a vital two-points.
