PSG winger Jean-Eudes Maurice has had his trial period at Millwall cut-short by manager Ian Hollaway, according to News At Den.
The 28-year old Haiti international is on the verge of leaving PSG having spent the last seven years at the Parisian side.
He was offered a trial at Millwall but following his failure to be selected to play in the 1-0 friendly win over Dartford, he has been sent back home to France just one week into his trial.
Millwall manager Ian Hollaway told reporters, “Maurice I’ve let go. What I’m looking for is very specific.
“With his age and where he is I didn’t want to waste any more of his time.
“To be honest, with you it is a very tough standard I want to try and bring here because I feel some of my young players can break through.
“If Fred Onyedinma has looked a bit sharper and better than him then the boy isn’t going to get a chance, is he?”
“So in fairness to him I’d rather work with Fred at the moment and I knew that so he [Maurice] has got a bit of a tough task on his hands to be fair.
