Wolverhampton Wanderers are still celebrating promotion to the Premier League, with an exciting summer on the horizon.

Nuno Espirito Santo’s side stormed to promotion and clinched the Sky Bet Championship title in emphatic fashion last weekend by beating Bolton Wanderers 4-0.

Wolves can sit back and enjoy the final two fixtures of the season, with Nuno sure to cut a relaxed figure against Sheffield Wednesday and Sunderland.

Attention will be turning to the summer transfer window already, with Wolves looking to make a big impact on their return to the Premier League.

As has been their style over the last 18 months, Wolves will spend some big money on transfers, but Nuno will also be on the lookout for a few bargains along the way.

With that in mind, here is a look at SIX free agents who could be on Wolves’ radar over the course of the summer…

Wilshere’s current contract at Arsenal is set to expire in the summer, with some high-profile clubs sure to be chasing his signature.

Wolves’ ambition could lead to them taking a look at the England midfielder.

Song is currently without a club and could be a good addition at Molineux.

The holding midfielder has plenty of experience and would bring a presence similar to Alfred N’Diaye.

Ben Arfa is on his way out at PSG, with a move back to the Premier League a possibility.

The 31-year-old at his best could be a great addition to Nuno’s squad.

Currently, Cabaye and Crystal Palace are yet to agree fresh terms for the midfielder.

The Frenchman is another player with a huge amount of top-flight experience.

Wolves’ recruitment strategy could see them head back to Portugal, with Reyes one Porto player currently out of contract in the summer.

With a strong Portuguese presence at Molineux, a move wouldn’t come as a surprise.

This is perhaps the most ambitious name on this list, with the Schalke midfielder sure to attract interest from some top Premier League clubs.

However, Wolves have big ambitions heading to the Premier League, and at some point, a move for Meyer will surely cross their mind.
