David Prutton is tipping Luton Town to beat Blackburn Rovers 2-0 this weekend in the Sky Bet Championship, as per his Sky Sports prediction column.

The international break has come to an end and now we're heading into the most hectic period of the campaign.

Indeed, it's going to be busier than normal thanks to the nature of this season and that is perhaps why we're seeing the EFL permitting 5 subs a match now in order to try and negate the impact of muscle injuries and fatigue as much as possible.

For both Luton and Blackburn, it's an opportunity to use that for the first time and Prutton reckons that it will be the Hatters who emerge victorious when the pair meet this weekend.

The Verdict

Luton sit three points above Blackburn in the table after a solid start and a win this weekend would certainly be an impressive result and a statement of intent.

Rovers have scored plenty of goals this season but they are letting too many silly results in at the same time to really make progress, and Prutton sees them suffering another defeat here.

It will be tough for both sides, of course, but the Sky man is edging towards a home win.
