Bakary Sako scored his first goal for West Brom as they progressed from their third round FA Cup tie against Wigan earlier today.

The former Wolves man has had to be patient since joining the Baggies earlier in the campaign but he was handed a start against the Latics in the cup.

And, he responded by scoring the only goal to ensure that Albion will be in the draw for the next round on Monday night.

However, that didn't tell the whole story as the forward player was not convincing at times.

He was wasteful on occasions when in possession but he was a major threat to the Wigan backline and obviously got the all-important goal.

With Dwight Gayle out injured at the moment, Sako will hope he has given the manager a selection dilemma ahead of the huge clash against Norwich next week.

Although, it's fair to say there was some contrasting opinions from the Baggies fans after watching Sako today.

Here's how some reacted to his display on twitter...
