Following their relegation from the Championship last season, Ipswich Town have made a very promising start to life in League One.

The Tractor Boys currently sit top of the table, have won ten of their opening 15 league matches and have the best defensive record in the division.

There's still a long way to go, but Paul Lambert's side have given fans at Portman Road plenty of reasons to feel optimistic about their chances of an immediate return to the Championship.

However, Town suffered only their fourth defeat of the season last night, losing 1-0 at Colchester United in the EFL Trophy - thanks to a long-range goal from Ryan Clampin.

With Ipswich already safely through to the next round of the competition, Lambert decided to make several changes to his side last night, in order to give some of his younger players a chance to impress.

In the end, it was a decision that didn't pay off, as Colcehster won the game to ensure that they qualify for the next round as group winners, while Ipswich have to settle for the runners-up spot.

The result has got plenty of Ipswich fans talking on social media and a group of supporters have taken to Facebook to discuss whether they would like to see Town have a successful cup run this season.

An Ispwich fan posted on Facebook: "Cup run or promotion? Promotion more important."

Plenty of Ipswich supporters were quick to respond to the question on Facebook, here is a look at some of the best comments.
