Sheffield Wednesday take on Leeds United in what is certain to be a real battle at Hillsborough on Saturday in front of the Sky Sports cameras.

The Owls head into the game unbeaten in their last three league games, where they have only conceded one goal in what has been an impressive start to this year's league campaign.

Garry Monk's side are currently sat third in the Championship table, and will be hoping to pick up another win to strengthen their grip on a top-six finish this term.

Leeds are one place above Wednesday in the table, and will be looking to find some consistency in their performances heading towards the potentially season-defining festive period.

Monk has provided a positive injury update ahead of the game at Hillsborough by revealing that Tom Lees has returned to training from a spell in the treatment room.

The Sheffield Wednesday boss also revealed that Keiren Westwood and Massimo Luongo have taken part in their preparations ahead of the game against Leeds.

Westwood missed the game against Stoke through injury, whilst Luongo was forced off after 54 minutes in the win over the Potters, which came after he scored the only goal of the game.

It's not going to be an easy game by any stretch of the imagination for Sheffield Wednesday, and they'll have to be at their best to come away from it with anything to show for their efforts.

The Verdict:

This will be a real boost for the Owls.

They'll need their key players available for one of their toughest games of the season, and Westwood, Luongo and Lees certainly fall into that category.

It'll be interesting to see who Monk opts to start between the posts, with Cameron Dawson putting in a strong performance in the win over Stoke City in midweek.

This is going to be a closely-fought battle at Hillsborough, in a game where both teams will be confident in picking up three points to give themselves a real advantage in winning promotion to the Premier League this season.
