The Championship is back this weekend and, as per usual, there's plenty of games to get stuck into as we come back from the international break.

Indeed, Sunday sees a massive clash between Nottingham Forest and Derby County whilst Saturday sees Aston Villa travel to Wolves for another big game.

That isn't the only derby in the second tier this weekend, though, as Millwall travel to London rivals Brentford in a bit to build on their solid start to the campaign.

For sure, the Lions have proven themselves more than capable at this level this year with some strong displays and a win at Griffin Park will leave them looking very nicely in the table.

They seem to have all the omens behind them to get a decent result against the Bees, too, with this reveal from Goodbrand Stats in mind:

For sure, then, the men from The Den will be looking forward to this game with this record but they still need to turn up on the day and apply themselves.

There's bound to be no hint of complacency with Neil Harris in charge, though, and we should expect another professional display from the men from south of the river.

The Verdict

Many might say that records like this do not count much for the next fixture but it does seem that, so often, they do actually come into play.

For sure, then, the Lions should be confident of getting something from the game as they look to build on their solid start as we head into a busy period.
