Norwich City sporting director Stuart Webber has given an insight into possible outgoings in the coming transfer window, reports journalist Michael Bailey.

He revealed that there have been no bids made for any of the club's exciting young players and that he will be urging them to remain at the club for at least another season.

According to Webber, because the club have won promotion back to the top-flight, and all the money that comes with that, there is now no need to sell this coming summer.

Max Aarons won the EFL's Young Player of the Season award a couple of months ago, whilst the likes of Jamal Lewis and Ben Godfrey have also impressed throughout the current season.

Norwich confirmed their promotion back to the top-flight last weekend with a 2-1 win against Blackburn Rovers at Carrow Road.

The second-tier title is not yet wrapped up, however, but it will be if they avoid defeat away to Aston Villa on Sunday.

The verdict

This will be music to the ears of Norwich fans and is surely the biggest positive of winning promotion.

I am very confident that the young talent at Norwich will be capable of making the step up, especially Aarons and Lewis.

Those two will make the club an awful lot of money at some point in the future, if not the coming window.
