Leeds United are looking like they will finally make a return to the Premier League this season, with Marcelo Bielsa's side currently occupying an automatic promotion place.

It's been a season of change for the Whites, with Samuel Saiz departing the club late into 2018 after forcing a loan move through to Spanish side, Getafe.

But the midfielder has struggled for game time with Getafe and has made just two league starts in his time with the club in a bitterly disappointing loan spell for Saiz.

Spanish media outlet, Marca, have claimed that Saiz "will not form part of the payroll for Getafe next season and will return to Leeds."

The same report from Marca also claims that Saiz' future at Leeds could be all but over as well.

It says that Leeds "hope for offers from Spain to assess the final departure" which seems like it could come sooner rather than later.

But are Leeds making the right decision in moving Saiz on in the summer?

We discuss....

George Harbey:

"That ship has surely sailed now.

"I think it would cause a lot of uproar amongst the Elland Road faithful if he were to come back, especially after walking out on teh club in the first place.

"I personally think that there are better options out there for Leeds anyway, especially with the money they'd get from winning promotion to the Premier League."

Toby Wilding:

"This is probably for the best.

"Leeds haven't exactly missed Saiz this season and they will need space and finds to strengthen for next season, be that for a push for promotion or a Premier League campaign.

"Saiz would likely be one of the first out of the Elland Road door to meet those needs."

Jacob Potter:

"It's the best move for both parties.

"Saiz evidently doesn't want to play for Leeds anymore, especially after forcing a move away from Elland Road earlier this season and I'm sure many Leeds fans will be keen to see the back of him.

"The sooner he's shifted off the wage bill, the better for Leeds if they are to prepare for life in the Premier League which is looking increasingly more likely each week."
