With the January transfer window looming, Nottingham Forest midfielder Claudio Yacob faces an uncertain future at the City Ground.
The 32-year-old signed for Forest on a free transfer from West Bromwich Albion last season, establishing himself as a key player under Aitor Karanka.
The Argentine midfielder made 17 appearances in all competitions, but he has found game-time incredibly hard to come by under Sabri Lamouchi this season.
Yacob is yet to make an appearance after falling to the bottom of the pecking order, with Ben Watson, Ryan Yates, Samba Sow and Tiago Silva all impressing this term.
With his contract running out at the end of the season, it’s unlikely that Yacob’s deal will be renewed at the end of the campaign.
Plenty of Forest fans on social media have been discussing Yacob’s future – debating whether they should look to sell him in January for a fee rather than lose him on a free.
Or, could Forest look to keep him despite his lack of game-time under Lamouchi?
Here, we take a look at what they have been saying…

Get gone. Probably for the best has we have Yates and watto

He’s a good player and hasn’t seemed to put a foot wrong on the pitch. But I would sell him with the likes of Watson Yates Sow Semedo all ahead of him. He could do decent at another championship team like Wigan it Hull.

Has to be sold tbh, can’t add anything to our current squad

He's done ok the few times we've seen him but doesn't seem to be in Sabri's plans, plus he's 32 now so probably let him go and get game time and a good deal for himself.

Sell. Any money we make on him is good money. Never really given a chance to prove himself and unlikely to be given the chance do so. For him and us let him move on. We now have better.
