With the January transfer window looming, Nottingham Forest midfielder Claudio Yacob faces an uncertain future at the City Ground.

The 32-year-old signed for Forest on a free transfer from West Bromwich Albion last season, establishing himself as a key player under Aitor Karanka.

The Argentine midfielder made 17 appearances in all competitions, but he has found game-time incredibly hard to come by under Sabri Lamouchi this season.

Yacob is yet to make an appearance after falling to the bottom of the pecking order, with Ben Watson, Ryan Yates, Samba Sow and Tiago Silva all impressing this term.

With his contract running out at the end of the season, it's unlikely that Yacob's deal will be renewed at the end of the campaign.

Plenty of Forest fans on social media have been discussing Yacob's future - debating whether they should look to sell him in January for a fee rather than lose him on a free.

Or, could Forest look to keep him despite his lack of game-time under Lamouchi?

Here, we take a look at what they have been saying...
