Saturday 18th January brings with it action from all the teams in the Sky Bet League One. However, one clash in particular brings a Yorkshire derby in the form of Sheffield United and Bradford City.
After a disappointing defeat on the road at Notts County, Nigel Clough’s side will be hoping to bounce back in style against the Bantams who have only one in their last ten.
Only two weeks ago, the Blades were flying high after beating Premiership outfit Aston Villa in the FA Cup Third Round. But they came back down to earth with a bump after squandering a 1-0 lead away at Meadow Lane to lose 2-1.
After a 1-1 draw at home to Bristol City, the Bantams will be looking to capitalise on the draw and hoping to get a win at Bramall Lane.
Even with the draw, Phil Parkinson’s side have lost three of their last five games, with their last win coming back in November against MK Dons.
The home side have no fresh injury concerns after last weekend’s encounter.
Even after taking into account the league position of both clubs, Bradford’s attempts to win the game could be hampered after high-scoring Nahki Wells left the Bantams to join fellow Yorkshire club Huddersfield Town last week.
Kick off at Bramall Lane is at 3pm under the whistle of referee Roger East.
