Preston North End are believed to be keen on a deal to sign Stoke City defender Liam Lindsay according to journalist Alan Nixon.
This means that Alex Neil’s side are likely to be working on a potential replacement for Davies in the near future, and it seems as though Lindsay is on their radar.
The 25-year-old has made 23 appearances in all competitions for Stoke City, but is yet to feature for the Potters in this year’s campaign, which hints that his future lies elsewhere.

It’s good to see Preston wasting no time in moving for Lindsay though, as I think he’d be a solid signing for Alex Neil’s side.
