Preston North End are reportedly interested in signing Wigan Athletic striker Kieffer Moore according to the Daily Mail.
Moore has caught the eye with some impressive displays for the Latics this season, having scored nine goals in 34 appearances.
Wigan are currently facing financial difficulty though, and have recently been placed into administration, which could result in a potential points deduction for Paul Cook’s side.
But they seem to be responding in the best way possible, and recently thrashed Hull City 8-0 at the DW Stadium as they pulled further clear of the relegation zone.
However, due to the off-the-field problems, it means that the club could forced to cash-in on some of their key players, with Moore being one of those.
A move to Preston could be a tempting proposition for the Welsh international as well, with Alex Neil’s side currently challenging for a top-six finish this season in the Championship.
Moore and his Wigan team-mates are next in action this weekend, when they take on relegation-threatened Charlton Athletic at The Valley, in a game they’ll be expected to pick up three points from.

I think this would be an excellent addition to the Preston team.
Preston need a striker that suits their style of play, and Moore definitely does that with his hold-up play. He’s got a proven record in front of goal in the Championship as well, so I’m not surprised to hear that a promotion-chasing side are looking at him.
Even if Wigan are to retain their Championship status this season, I think Moore will surely be tempted by a move to Deepdale, as Preston are a team that are heading in the right direction.
