Preston North End have completed the signing of Aston Villa striker Callum Robinson for an undisclosed compensation package due to his release from the club, according to the club’s official website.
Robinson, who rejected a new contract at Villa Park to join the Lancashire side, has signed three-year deal at Deepdale.
Robinson has come up through the ranks at Villa Park, and as a former England youth international with the Under-19’s and Under-20’s, he has long been tipped for a bright future.
The striker is Simon Grayson’s sixth summer signing of the season as they look to improve on their mid table finish in the Championship.
The 21-year-old spent has featured regularly for Preston over the past few year after having three spells on loan with the club.
The forward will return to Lancashire this week to link back up with his team mates as they prepare for their first Championship fixture against Reading FC on the 6th August.
