‘Preparing for another horror show’ – These Sunderland fans respond to club message
The pressure is starting to build on Sunderland boss Phil Parkinson after three defeats in a row in all competitions.
Most recently, the Black Cats were beaten 2-1 at home against MK Dons, a result that leaves the team outside the play-off places and the manner of the defeat was particularly alarming, even if they ended up creating enough chances to get a point.
Given the expectancy that rightly comes with managing Sunderland in the third tier, that isn’t good enough and the fans have been showing their frustration on social media in recent days.

The latest came in response to a club tweet, which showed the squad being put through their paces ahead of the tough weekend game at Doncaster Rovers.

Many supporters took the chance to have a pop at Parkinson and they made it clear recent performances have suggested the preparation going into games hasn’t been good enough.
