Premier League trio weighing up summer move for coveted Leeds United ace

Premier League sides West Bromwich Albion, Stoke and Crystal Palace have joined the race for Leeds United starlet, Charlie Taylor, according to a report by the Yorkshire Evening Post.

In what appears to be another summer in which Leeds United plays a role in a prolonged transfer saga, this summer it appears that it will involve Leeds United’s player of the year, Charlie Taylor.

Taylor who has been capped at the England Under 19 level had an excellent season and rightfully earned the plaudits of his colleagues and his club.

Charlie Taylor is preparing to enter the final year of his contract and he has yet to been offered a new contract which has alerted a number of Premier League sides.

West Bromwich Albion are the latest Premier League side to join the race for Charlie Taylor as Tony Pulis looks to strengthen his defence.

Specifically, the left back position has become an issue due to Chris Brunt’s injury woes and Belgian left Sebastien Pocognoli falling out of favour. Tony Pulis may look to bring in a left back and it is reported that he is a keen admirer of Charlie Taylor.

The main concern for Leeds United and Leeds United fans is that Charlie Taylor hasn’t been offered a new contract and that Charlie Taylor shares the same agent as Sam Byram, who left the club for West Ham United in January.

Leeds United fans, how do you feel about the news? Do you expect Leeds to resist the temptation to sell Taylor whilst his price is still high? Why do you make of Leeds not offering Taylor a new contract? Do you think Taylor’s agent will play an influential role if Taylor was to leave?
