Three Premier League clubs are believed to be interested in Queens Park Rangers centre-back Steven Caulker according to Shoot.
Crystal Palace, Norwich and Sunderland are interested in the QPR defender with a January transfer a possibility, despite the player currently being on loan at Southampton.
Caulker has failed to get in the first team and is clearly out of favour at St Mary’s following the signing of Virgil Van Dijk, who has formed a partnership with the talented Jose Fonte.
With the player highly likely to return to QPR, rival Premier League clubs are willing to take the centre back in order to bolster their squad, ahead of an intense second half of the Premier League season.
Norwich and Sunderland will be desperate to add to their squad in order to avoid the drop this season.
Caulker is now an experienced Premier League player but he has been relegated to the Championship in the last two seasons.
The player’s wages are likely to mean that Caulker will not remain at Loftus Road.
QPR fans, is this the obvious move for Caulker? How did you rate him when he was with the club last season? Let us know in the comments below!
