Premier League relegation strugglers Huddersfield Town are eyeing up a move for Norwich City star James Maddison, according to Alan Nixon on Twitter.

The young midfielder has been one of the stars of the season in the second tier this term, and bagged his 14th goal of the season yesterday as his Canaries side dispatched struggling Reading at Carrow Road.

However, his form has not gone unnoticed, and Terriers manager David Wagner is keen to add more players to his squad in the summer, although a big money move for Maddison could hinge on Huddersfield maintaining their Premier League status and getting another chunk of TV money.

It is believed that Norwich will want at least £25m for their star man, but this will not put off Wagner, who is not averse to delving into the Championship to sign new players following the captures of Tom Ince and Alex Pritchard over the last 12 months.

Maddison joined the Canaries from Coventry City and has been impressing ever since, becoming the standout performer under manager Daniel Farke and one of the most sought after talents outside of the Premier League. With other clubs likely to be interested in him come the summer, Maddison could well find himself with a wealth of options to choose from should he decide to move on.

Norwich fans, what do you think of this? How much is Maddison worth? Let us know in the comments!
