Hull City and Marseille are both lining up late moves for Aston Villa striker Jordan Ayew, according to ESPN.

Aston Villa striker Jordan Ayew has been subject to widespread interest throughout the summer, as the likes of West Ham and West Brom have previously been linked with a move for the forward.

Roberto Di Matteo's Villa have resisted all bids so far and are very reluctant to sell him before the window closes.

Hull are desperate to recruit new players before the window shuts as their squad is already looking thin ahead of their Premier League campaign. Marseille will be looking for a replacement for Michy Batshuayi, who left the French club to join Chelsea this summer.

Aston Villa have been in the market for strikers towards the end of the window with a move for Jonathan Kodjia looking close.

They have also considered Abel Hernandez of Hull and West Ham's Enner Valencia, so perhaps they are preparing themselves for the departure of Ayew.

The 24-year-old Ghana international was Aston Villa's top scorer last season in the Premier League, notching seven goals as the Villains were relegated to the Championship.

Aston Villa fans - what do you think? How much would you demand for Ayew? Can you replace him before the window closes?
