Newly-promoted Fulham are hoping to take Swansea City striker Jordan Ayew to the Premier League with them, according to Sky Sports News.
Slavisa Jokanovic is keen to bolster his options ahead of their Premier League campaign and Ayew has been identified as a target.
Fulham are in talks to sign the Ghana international and have made a bid of £8m for his services.
Ayew topped the scoring charts at Swansea last season, netting 11 goals in all competitions and seven in the league but he could not prevent their relegation to the Championship.
Just as he did six months after Aston Villa dropped to the second tier, Ayew could now make a move back to the Premier League again with interest expected.
Fulham are hoping to strengthen their attack after Aleksandar Mitrovic’s loan spell expired and a deal is yet to be struck with Newcastle United while the physical Serbia international represents his country at the World Cup.
Swansea face a battle to keep a number of their top players ahead of their Championship campaign, with Lukasz Fabianski and Alfie Mawson both lined up by West Ham United.
Ayew could be another player heading for the exit as the Cottagers eye a £8m swoop.
£8m is not a bad price to receive for Ayew and Swansea might be tempted to accept this.
It would arm them with extra funds to strengthen their side with players to get them back out of this division.
While the 26-year-old offers a decent outlet up front, he is not irreplaceable and the Swans should cash in at this price.
