Odubajo is a target for Everton

The 21-year-old signed for Brentford last summer in a £1 million move from Leyton Orient, who had just lost out in the play offs, snubbing interest from various Premier League sides to link up with Mark Warburton.

The makeshift defender was outstanding in Brentford’s 2014/15 Sky Bet Championship campaign, that saw them finish within the top six of the division.

Odubajo took over the role of right-back following an injury to Alan McCormack, and soon pushed his was into a first team role there, where he now frequently plays.

The England under-20 international was subject to interest from Everton earlier on in the season,  whilst he was operating as an out and out winger – his move to full back has seemingly strengthened their interest.

Roberto Martinez is scouring the Championship for a new right back this year as Seamus Coleman is persistently linked with switch to Manchester United.

Brentford fans… What do you make of this news? Do you need a new right back? Would Odubajo leaving be a big loss? Let us know your thoughts and opinions in the comments below!
