Hull City goalkeeper Eldin Jakupovic is subject to interest from a quartet of Premier League clubs, according to HITC Sport.
The 32-year-old earned many rave reviews for his displays between the sticks for the Tigers last term, even though he couldn’t prevent the North East outfit suffering relegation down to the Championship after just one-year in the top tier.
The one-time Switzerland international started 22 of their 38 Premier League games, saving a penalty in their 0-0 draw at Southampton and performing unbelievably to thwart Manchester United back in February to preserve key points for Marco Silva’s side.
And his fine form in the top-flight last season, coupled with Hull’s relegation, has attracted interest from a host of Premier League sides, with Crystal Palace, Leicester City, Swansea City, and Watford all reportedly eyeing up a summer move for the shot-stopper.
All four sides will be hoping for much better top-flight campaigns next term, given all four were at some stage embroiled in a relegation scrap only to get out of it, and 32-year-old Jakupovic proved last time out that he is a more than adequate goalkeeper at that level.
Whether the quartet make a move for the shot-stopper this summer very much remains to be seen, but what is clear is that Jakupovic’s reputation hasn’t been too badly tarnished despite Hull’s relegation from the Premier League.
