Blackburn Rovers have enjoyed an incredibly comfortable return to the Championship this season and remain in the hunt for a top-six spot. 

Tony Mowbray's side currently sit in 11th place in the league table with 21 games played, just six points behind Middlesbrough who currently occupy the final play-off spot.

Bradley Dack has continued his sparkling form from last season whilst the defensive minds of Charlie Mulgrew and Darragh Lenihan remain incredibly sharp.

And, one player who has perhaps not received as much credit as his teammates, but been no less important, is midfielder and fan-favourite Corry Evans.

The 28-year-old moved to Ewood Park from Hull City in 2013 and has been a reliable midfield man ever since, racking up 17 Championship appearances this season.

Fans were given a lovely surprise on Thursday when it was announced that he had signed a new two-and-a-half year deal at the club, keeping him there until the summer of 2021.
