Brentford have announced that Thomas Frank has agreed a new contract at the club, on a deal that runs until 2023.

Frank has been in charge at Griffin Park for a total of 15 months, taking over the reigns in October 2018 after Dean Smith's departure for Aston Villa.

The news was revealed on the club website on Monday afternoon.

"I am very pleased that the Club offered me a new contract and I was delighted to sign it. I love coming to work every single day and love working with the players and the staff here," Frank said.

Brentford finished in 11th place in the league table in his first season at the helm, ten points short of the play-offs.

However, this term the Bees are having one of their more successful campaigns in recent memory, occupying third position in the Sky Bet Championship table, with fourteen wins from their 27 league games.
