Brentford have announced that Thomas Frank has agreed a new contract at the club, on a deal that runs until 2023.
Frank has been in charge at Griffin Park for a total of 15 months, taking over the reigns in October 2018 after Dean Smith’s departure for Aston Villa.
The news was revealed on the club website on Monday afternoon.

“I am very pleased that the Club offered me a new contract and I was delighted to sign it. I love coming to work every single day and love working with the players and the staff here,” Frank said.
Brentford finished in 11th place in the league table in his first season at the helm, ten points short of the play-offs.
However, this term the Bees are having one of their more successful campaigns in recent memory, occupying third position in the Sky Bet Championship table, with fourteen wins from their 27 league games.
QUIZ: Do you know where these fifteen ex-Brentford players are playing now?
Frank has a win percentage of 44% at the club, winning 30 of his 67 games in charge.
Here are what these Brentford fans had to say on Twitter after the news was confirmed…

Amazing news! The club showed massive belief when appointing Thomas when they could have easily gone for a McCarthy, Redknapp, Allardyce type option after Dean left. We have not played such exciting and attractive football in our history, and this is totally down to TF + his team

Lovely man. Good manager with a group of loyal players who never moan at each other when things are not quite right. Deserves the new contract as this is how we always want BFC to play. EXCITING QUALITY FOOTBALL

Best news yet! Players come and go but here’s someone honest intelligent and humble. We’ve been very lucky with Managers but Thomas is at the very top of the list so glad he’ll see us into the new Stadium

Thoroughly deserved, performances aside Thomas has been instrumental in galvanizing every piece of the jigsaw from us fans right up to Sir Benham of Brentford himself ⚽👍🐝
