Bristol City defender Hordur Bjorgvin Magnusson is on the radar of Tottenham Hotspur and Everton, according to a report by HITC.
Bristol City swooped to sign Magnusson from Italian giants Juventus in the summer for £2.5m and he has since proved to be a top signing.
The Icelandic international has formed a formidable centre back partnership with Aden Flint and they compliment each other perfectly.
Flint is the towering right-footed aerial presence whereas Magnusson is the more nimble and technical of the two and is left-footed.
This defensive solidity has helped Bristol City set a platform to push for promotion and they are currently hovering around the play-off spots.
The 23-year-old had never played a Serie A game for Juventus before his switch and had been shipped out on multiple loan deals but Bristol City have acquired a real gem in Magnusson.
HITC understands that a handful of Premier League clubs have been regularly scouting Magnusson with Tottenham and Everton in pole position to land the centre half.
Mauricio Pochettino is said to be keen on offloading Kevin Wimmer in January and signing Magnusson as his replacement, although he would have to fork out up to £10m to land his man.
Bristol City fans – what do you think? Would you sell Magnusson for £10m? How important has he been for you this season?
