Blackburn starlet Hyuga Tanner is attracting interest from a number of Premier League and Championship clubs, according to TeamTalk.
The young Australian has yet to make his debut for the first team at Ewood Park, but is highly thought of and has impressed immensely for the youth teams at Blackburn.
The concern for Rovers is that Tanner’s contract expires this summer, and an agreement has yet to be reached between the club and player over any sort of extension, putting a host of clubs on red alert.
The Australian has been at Ewood Park since he was 14, and now at 18, looks set for a bright future in the game after recovering from a spate of injuries during his short time in England.
A skilful midfield player, Tanner would be a valuable asset to plenty of clubs who are showing an interest in him, and he may see a move to the Premier League as something that is too hard to resist at this early stage of his career, as he looks to follow in the footsteps of fellow Australian success stories Tim Cahill and Harry Kewell.
Rovers take on local rivals Burnley at the weekend, after dispatching promotion favourites Middlesbrough this week.
