Crystal Palace have submitted a £7m bid for Norwich City’s Robbie Brady, according to The Daily Mail.
It is believed that Sam Allardyce wants Brady to play as a left back in the absence of Pape Souare, who was severely injured in a motorway car crash back in September.
Brady is a versatile player, who is capable of filling in at left back, central midfield, attacking midfield and as a winger.
Both Premier League champions Leicester City and then-Europa League competitors West Ham United were linked with a move for the Republic of Ireland international in the summer but were put off by Norwich’s £20m demand.
Sam Allardyce is keen to add “two or three” new faces in January as he prepares for a battle for survival in the top flight with his new club Crystal Palace.
It is believed that Norwich are holding out for £12m for the 24-year-old.
