Brighton and Hove Albion have made a third bid for Reading defender Liam Moore, according to Sky Sports yesterday evening.

The Royals are looking to keep hold of their star performer, but could well find themselves hard pushed to keep hold of the former Leicester defender, who has been in impressive form last season despite a poor campaign for the Berkshire club overall.

It now appears though that the race for Moore is not going to be a simple one, and the Seagulls have now lodged a third, and improved bid for the centre back.

Moore, who moved to the Royals back in 2016 and has 10 caps at under-21 level for England, has been a regular ever since making the move to the Championship outfit from the Foxes, and only signed a new four year deal with the club back in August of last year.

However, money can talk when it comes to the Premier League, and it appears Brighton are continuing to test the resolve of Reading, who have already rejected two bids for Moore.

Moore is approaching 100 appearances for the Royals, and it would be a bitter blow for the club to lose their star man ahead of a big campaign next term.
