According to The Mirror, Chelsea are already fielding a number of loan enquiries for some of their star youngsters ahead of the 2017/18 campaign.
This includes two of their best youth prospects currently out on loan in the Championship: Bristol City’s Tammy Abraham and Huddersfield Town’s Izzy Brown.
Middlesbrough are reportedly leading the chase to sign striker Tammy Abraham, who struck his 23rd league goal of the season on the weekend to ensure Bristol City were all but safe in the race for survival.
The 19-year-old’s impressive goal tally sees him ranked second in the Championship top scorer charts, 2 goals behind Leeds United’s Chris Wood in the race for the golden boot.
The England under 21 international is likely to be loaned out again and Middlesbrough – who look set for relegation this term – are keen to take Abraham.
Huddersfield Town’s goal scoring winger Izzy Brown is also attracting plenty of loan interest, as well as Lewis Baker.
