According to the Express, Crystal Palace will have to pay up to £5m if they are to appoint Slavisa Jokanovic as their manager this summer.
Palace are on the lookout for a new manager following Sam Allardyce’s shock resignation last month, and have identified the Fulham man as a potential replacement.
Marco Silva was believed to be Palace’s first choice, but the former Hull City boss has opted for a move to Watford and attentions have now turned to Jokanovic.
The 48-year old has two-years remaining on his deal at Craven Cottage, and Fulham will not release their manager from that contract for a small fee, with £5m believed to be their compensation demand.
Jokanovic has plenty experience in English football, having spent the 2014/15 season with Watford, where he achieved promotion in the Championship, before taking over at Fulham in 2015.
Last season in the Championship Jokanovic surprised many by guiding Fulham, who were tipped to struggle, to the play-offs, where they lost in the semi-finals to Reading.
