‘Premier League bound’ – Plenty of Barnsley fans issue high praise for 25-y/o after latest stalemate

Barnsley were forced to settle for a point against Doncaster Rovers on Friday night in a hard-fought goalless draw at the Keepmoat Stadium.

The point sees the Tykes edge closer to Luton Town at the top of the table, but promotion is now out of their hands with Sunderland having two games in hand on Daniel Stendel’s side.

It was a tightly-contested game between the two promotion chasing sides, but the draw did extend Barnsley’s unbeaten run in the league to 13 matches.

They’re a team in form at the perfect time and will be hoping to keep themselves within touching distance of Luton as the season progresses to a conclusion.

One man who impressed during the stalemate was Tykes defender, Ethan Pinnock who picked up the man-of-the-match award on the night.

It’s safe to say that Barnsley supporters were delighted with Pinnock’s performance.
