Charlton Athletic have moved to strengthen their squad ahead of their return to the Championship next season, after confirming the arrival of defender Deji Oshilaja on a two-year deal.

Oshilaja has joined on a free transfer following the expiry of his contract with League One side AFC Wimbledon, where he made a total 103 appearances and scored four goals in all competitions for the club over two spells, having spent time on loan at Kingsmeadow from Cardiff in 2015, before making his move leaving the Welsh capital for Wimbledon permanently in 2017.

There will be a familiar face for Oshilaja at Charlton when he joins up with his new squad, with the 26-year-old having previously played with Lyle Taylor at Wimbledon prior to the striker's move to the Valley last summer, and it was Taylor who featured in a video posted on Twitter by the Addicks to announce the signing of Oshilaja.

Taking to the social media platform to react to news of Oshilaja's arrival, a number of Charlton fans appeared to be relatively happy with the club's latest piece of recruitment.

Here, we take a look at what some of them had to say.
