Arsenal recently confirmed that they had parted company with Unai Emery after a poor run of results this season with the Gunners.

His sacking could potentially have an impact on Leeds United though, with the Whites currently having Arsenal youngster Eddie Nketiah on loan for the season.

But Nketiah hasn't featured as much as he would have liked to this season, and has often been used as a substitute to Patrick Bamford.

It has previously been reported by Football Insider that Leeds are expecting Nketiah to be recalled early by Arsenal from his loan spell at Elland Road.

With a new manager likely to be appointed in the near future at The Emirates Stadium, they could be tempted to recall Nketiah back to the club to assess him.

Plenty of Leeds United fans reacted to Emery's dismissal and how it could affect Nketiah's loan deal at Arsenal.

See the best of the reaction from Facebook below...

John-Michael Lloyd: "May be more opportunity to buy at end of loan, especially if new manager wants more proven talent."

Sam Calcutt: "He will end up going back in January and get loaned back out to another Championship side."

Scott Cassidy: "I imagine he'll stay with us. He wont get much more game time in PL right now."

Adam Harper: "Praying he stays with us now."

Phil Salmon: "Hope they don't come knocking for our god,,, he would definitely fit the bill for them."

Joe Hryszko: "Surely won't change his loan agreements?"

Alex Dunne: "Reckon it will be Ljungberg till the end of the season, and he was the youth team coach previously so he will definitely have a say."
