Middlesbrough manager Tony Pulis is set to leave the club, with his contract at the Riverside Stadium coming to an end.
It has been another frustrating year for Pulis in Teesside – Boro looked set to finish in the Sky Bet Championship play-off spots, before a run of six straight league defeats ruined their chances of a top-six finish.
The 61-year old has been criticised by the Boro faithful for his brand of football, with the Welshman employing a long-ball tactic which clearly doesn’t suit his players.
But now, according to the Gazette, Pulis is set to leave the North East club, having won just 35 out of 80 games in charge since taking the reins on Boxing Day in 2017.
Now, Boro fans will be looking forward to new start under new management, having seen their team surrender a promotion push for yet another year.
Here, we take a look at Boro fans’ reactions to this significant piece of news…

If he needs help moving his stuff out, let me know. I am in Melbourne, Australia, but it will be money well spent to assist him.
