Swansea City and Queens Park Rangers are both interested in Hosam Aiesh, according to a report by HITC Sport.

Ostersunds FK midfielder Aiesh is being lined up by new Swansea manager Graham Potter as he seeks a reunion with his former star at the Swedish club.

But QPR are also in the race to capture the 23-year-old, who gained media attention after scoring against Arsenal in the Europa League.

Swedish-born Aiesh, who is keen to represent Palestine's national team, joined Ostersunds from BK Hacken in January 2015 and has been a key player for the club.

Playing predominantly as a winger, Aiesh has scored one goal and grabbed two assists in his six games in the Swedish Allsvenskan so far this season.

QPR have been tracking the former Sweden under-19 international for some time now and could finally make a move as he has just 18 months remaining on his current deal.

However, he faces competition from Potter's Swansea with the Englishman eyeing a reunion with Aiesh at The Liberty Stadium.

Swansea are also said to be interested in snapping up another pair of Ostersunds stars now that Potter has arrived in South Wales, with Ken Sema and Saman Ghoddos linked.

The Verdict

Aiesh has Europa League experience and he certainly caused Arsenal some problems, suggesting he would slot in well at Championship level.

The skilful winger is able to provide goals and assists, something that both teams will need to reach the next level.

Swansea would probably be his preferable choice, given Potter's presence as manager, but QPR will hope to lure him to London instead.
