With the January transfer window rapidly approaching nearly all Championship teams will be plotting how they will strengthen their sides.

The top of the table remains incredibly tight with just seven points separating first place and 10th, with one of those sides being Swansea City.

Graham Potter seems to have reinstalled the slick passing style, or the 'Swansea way', that gained them such a positive reputation in their early Premier League years, and with it improved the atmosphere at the club.

It was lost somewhat over the last few years as they fought against relegation before finally succumbing to the drop last year.

After a limited transfer window in which only six new faces arrived at the Liberty Stadium, the Swans sit in eighth place and just two points behind Derby County, who currently occupy the final play-off position.

But there will also be players Potter will be looking to axe in the winter window.

Here are TWO possible victims...

Bony is a complete and utter drain on the Swans' resources.

Yes, if he could get back to his best he would be one of the best strikers in the division, but the chances of that happening are extremely slim.

Potter is most likely thinking the same and will look to get rid of the Ivorian in January.

Routledge appears to be surplus to requirements.

Like Bony, he will be on a sizeable wage and it would be well worth their while cutting ties with Routledge.

He is not likely to get back in the squad ahead of Daniel James, Barrie McKay or Jefferson Montero.
