Oxford United are expected to sell midfielder Cameron Brannagan this summer, and Leeds United have emerged as favourites to make a move, according to Football Insider.
Revealed earlier this week by Football Insider, Leeds were deemed favourites to make a move for the 23-year-old, who has been impressing with Oxford.
Scouts from Elland Road are claimed to have travelled to Oxford’s game against Accrington on Tuesday to cast an eye over the young talent and a potential asking price has now been reported.
A source close to Oxford is said to have told Football Insider that a bid in the region of £3m-£5m would be enough to force a deal through.

Playing consistently well in League One with Oxford, Brannagan could jump up two league’s if he signs for Leeds, and Marcelo Bielsa’s side gain promotion to the Premier League.
The goalscoring midfielder joined Oxford from Liverpool in January 2018 and he has since made 34 appearances in all competitions this term.
It is no surprise that Brannagan is attracting interest, having played well with Oxford – and his development at Liverpool will only spur teams like Leeds on to make a move.
Whether or not he can jump from League One to the Premier League remains to be seen, but for such a small transfer fee, potentially, it would be a risk worth taking.
Leeds could well be playing their football in the Premier League next season, and to work with a manager of Marcelo Bielsa’s calibre will surely be too good of an option to turn down for the midfielder.
