West Bromwich Albion have confirmed that right back Allan Nyom has signed for Leganes on a one-year loan deal.

In a statement on the West Bromwich Albion website, the club announced that the 30-year-old defender has secured himself a season-long loan switch to the Spanish outfit.

Nyom signed for the Albion back in 2016 from Premier League side Watford, and has gone on to make 69 first team appearances for the Baggies in his two year spell at the Hawthorns.

Having made over 200 appearances for Granada in his six year spell at the club, Nyom certainly has bags of experience in the Spanish leagues, but his departure could leave Darren Moore short of options in the full back position.

Nyom’s exit means versatile Craig Dawson likely to take over duties in the right back position against Queens Park Rangers this weekend.

Having played 31 times in all competitions for West Brom’s relegation campaign last season, the Baggies faithful have had a mixed reaction to the news of the Cameroon internationals departure.
